Junior B

The LaSalle Vipers edged out their rival Leamington Flyers in a penalty filled game on Thursday. Eli Billing made 40 saves for the Vipers, who moved into third place in the Junior B standings. Leamington’s Zach Guilbeault and assistant coach Lee Jones received game misconducts for abuse of officials. LaSalle’s Connor Rosaasen and Blake Jones, as well as Leamington’s Mitchell Amante, were given misconducts for inciting an opponent

Junior C

The Integrity Amherstburg Admirals continued their undefeated season on Tuesday as they defeated the Essex 73’s. The Admirals remain the only undefeated team in Ontario in junior hockey.

Saints win gold

The St. Clair Saints women’s softball team captured gold on Sunday by defeating the four time defending champions Western Mustangs in the gold medal game in Oshawa. Sarah Bondy hit a walk-off single in the bottom of the 7th inning to take home the gold.

Saints still undefeated

The St. Clair Saints men’s team wrapped up first place in the OCAA standings with only four games remaining in the regular season. With a current record of 16-0, the Saints are eyeing their first ever perfect season as well as winning their third consecutive OCAA championship.

Lancers ball

The Lancers men’s basketball team beat the Regina Cougars 94-80 at the Graham Shootout tournament in Saskatoon Thursday. Alex Campbell netted 35 points to lead the Lancers to victory. The Lancers will face the Saskatchewan Huskies Friday at 7 p.m.
