This local ice cream shop is uncertain how business will hold with the onset of colder fall and winter weather.

Walkerville Chill, a small ice cream shop located on Wyandotte Street East,  has been able to pull sizable crowds since its opening in September, according to owner Stacey Norbury.

Norbury says that she is unsure whether or not the fact that she is running a new business will help or hurt her sales in the winter months.

“Some people may still want to come check us out for the first time, others may not even know that we are here,” says Norbury.

Now that the weather is colder, Norbury said they will be trying to increase sales by offering warm drinks such as hot chocolate to offset the potential decrease in the sales of colder products.

Walkerville Chill Chimney Cakes and Creamery is located at 1580 Wyandotte St. E.
