Suspects sought in downtown stabbing
Windsor police are seeking three suspects in connection with a downtown stabbing that sent a man to hospital with a punctured lung
Officers on patrol responded to an emergency at Shawarma Queen at 61 University Ave. W. about 3:30 a.m. Saturday.
The victim, a 23-year-old Windsor man, was stabbed outside the business during a robbery, police said.
He was treated for non-life threatening injuries at Windsor Regional Hospital’s Ouellette campus, according to the police. Shawarma Queen remained open.

The incident remains under investigation.
The incident occurred after downtown entertainment establishments had closed but while the bar crowds were still lingering.
