Monet painting pays the price for fossil fuels

Protesters threw mashed potatoes at a Monet painting in a German museum on Sunday in a protest against fossil fuels.
They continued to make their point by gluing their hands to the wall, as seen in videos posted to social media.
This is the second attempt to damage an irreplaceable painting.
The first was a Van Gogh which was covered with tomato soup by activists.
