Moore adjusting to OHL life

Windsor Spitfires second-round pick Ryan Moore is starting to adjust to the Ontario Hockey League lifestyle.
Moore has one goal in seven games this season and is looking more comfortable on the ice.
“I think I’m adjusting a little better to it,” said Moore. “Some of the guys have been telling me things I have been doing wrong in practice so I’m only going up from here.”
Adjusting to the OHL lifestyle can sometimes be a difficult task, especially for American born players like Moore who is from Troy, Mich.
“Troy is a little bit bigger than around where I am (billeted) in Tecumseh,” said Moore. “Trying to balance school and coming to practice, working out every day has been tough.”
As a rookie, Moore has the benefit of learning from the older players who have been through that period of adjustment.
“They just tell me some of the stuff they have been through,” said Moore. “Coming in as a rookie is tough, 16-years-old coming in the league you’re playing against men so they have given me stuff to think about on and off the ice.”
