More Suspects arrested in assault of a teen
Two more suspects have been arrested in connection to assaulting a teen with autism.
Another 12-year-old boy and a 13-year-old boy, surrendered to the police March 27 in relation to an assault that took place at a bus depot.
On March 9, 2024, around 8 p.m. police responded to an assault call in the 3100 block of Howard Ave. Following inquires officers discovered that a 16-year-old boy waiting for the bus, was confronted, chased, and attacked by a large group of teenagers. The victim was subjected to punches and kicks before the attackers fled the scene.
The victim was transported to the hospital with injuries that were serious but not life- threatening.
Six individuals have been charged with assault causing bodily harm in total.
