Movies that deserve our attention

This week I wanted to show you some lesser-known movies about teachers. 

Only The Strong   

The main hero of this story was a part of a military elite group. He spent years out of his hometown and was living in Brazil. Now he has come back home and sees what a disaster his old school has become. Drugs, gangs, and disorder are destroying the community. He decides to implement martial arts in the school program to help young minds find benefits in this and become more disciplined. But of course, the local gang is on its way, not letting him clean up the streets and ruin their illegal business.  

The Ron Clark Story  

The movie is about a teacher, who decides to change his environment and moves to a more challenging school with a bad rating. He deals with troubled kids but finds out many of them just have bad luck and don’t have equal opportunities to grow in this environment. He becomes a navigator to help his students succeed and become proud of themselves.

The Rewrite  

This story is about one Oscar winning Hollywood screenwriter who unfortunately after his successes did not get any more opportunities to write more movies. His agent finds him a job as a screenwriter at the university, that he doesn’t like too much. During the movie we can see how he understands better his real mission, and how he can use his talent as a screenwriter to help his students.  

The Kindergarten Teacher 

What happens when a teacher becomes obsessed about one of the students’ talents? A Kindergarten teacher who loves poetry, finds out that one of her little students has she sees potential in him not just for speech, but poetry as well. an interesting way of expressing their mind. She becomes obsessed with her student, and it brings her problems.
