Mudpuppy hosts art show

The Mudpuppy Gallery in Amherstburg is hosting a show for the Association of Representational Artists which started Oct. 31 and will be ending Dec. 2.
The 26 participating artists in the show have been given a 32 inch by 36 inch space in the gallery where they can hang an assortment of their work for the public to observe and purchase. The show will have its reception Nov. 4.
Phillis Chant, one of the partners who run the gallery, will be hosting the event and said the show has no theme so there is a piece of art for everyone.
“We have everything from landscapes, waterscapes, mixed media, children, food and animals. There’s something for everyone,” said Chant. “We’re hoping that most of the artists in the show will be here with their families to show the public their work.”
The reception will be between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. on Nov. 4.
“We invite the public to come out to meet the artists and take a look at the work,” said Chant.
