Norman road fire causes $250,000 in damage

A family’s dog was rescued but their cat perished during a suspected electrical fire in East Windsor over the weekend.
Windsor Fire and Rescue Services were called to a house fire at 1444 Norman St. around 4 p.m. on Oct. 17 where there was $180,000 in structure damage and $70,000 in damages to the family’s personal belongings. Upon arrival, fire was visible from the front portion of a two story building.The blaze lasted for almost an hour before being declaring the fire out.
Other fires over the weekend included a fire at 1644 Hickory St. and 2172 Curry St.
