It is the last day of the OFSAA wrestling finals at the WFCU Centre and the crowd patiently waits for the competitors to take the floor.  Teams are gearing up for the competition.

Many medals line a table awaiting their new owners.  The podium sits empty.  

Some wrestlers warmed up, some received pain therapy and others sat out due to injury.

Competitive wrestling can cause injuries and Alex Cooper learned this the hard way.  Cooper, who wrestles for St Josephs Wrestling team from St Thomas, tore her interior medial tendon in her third match  and had to gracefully bow out of the finals.
