This pandemic has proven to many that it’s still present and coming with vengeance. Ontario has had an increase of COVID-19 cases over the last few weeks and continues to grow each day. Even though there was only a handful of cases in the county, everyone should keep their distance as a stepping stone towards a safer environment.

Since working as a essential worker at a food store, it is very easy to notice what sells out in stores and what products have demand. Since the second wave has started many standard everyday products tend to sell out faster than others. Paper towels, disinfectant wipes, toilet paper and tissues are all examples of products that always sell out within the hour of the store opening.

Even though there is a 1 limit per house hold rule, customers still make two trips just to stock up on these popular products. The reason for this is because customers are preparing and stocking up just in case of a second lockdown.

By the looks of it the pandemic has just started. The number of cases are continuing to rise and everyday normal products are being sold out on a regular basis.

Costco has done a fantastic job at handling the pandemic while still providing to their customers and workers.

Visit https://www.costco.ca for any updates and in store pick up options for certain products while they are available.
