Police blotter March 1

Windsor Police Service is asking for help in locating three men involved in a home invasion.
WPS received a call Feb. 28 reporting a home invasion in the 100 block of Janette Avenue.
The male victim informed police three men had kicked in the front door of the residence.
One of the suspects hit the male resident with a baseball bat several times. Two women were also in the home when the incident occurred.
The police were called during the altercation and the suspects left before the police arrived.
WPS are still looking for the three men involved.
The first man is Caucasian, 6-0 to 6-2, 20-30 years old, 140-150 lbs, has a skinny build, short black spiked hair and was wearing a black sweater with a white t-shirt underneath with the word “Dixie” in orange across the chest.
The second suspect is male, light black skin, 5-11, 250 lbs, muscular build, 25-35 years old, short black hair, green eyes, has tattoos on both arms and a tattoo of red lips on the left side of his neck and was wearing a grey, zip-up hoodie and blue jeans.
The third male is Caucasian, mid 20s, stands 5-7, medium build, short blonde buzz-cut hair, brown eyes, pointy jaw with strong features and was wearing a baggy grey t-shirt and baggy blue jeans.

In a 24-hour period Feb. 28-March 1, the Windsor Police Service:
- Answered 293 calls to emergency 911 phone lines
- Responded to 69 calls to 911 requiring police assistance
- Handled 225 calls for service
- Issued 31 tickets for provincial offences
- Arrested and lodged 20 prisoners
