Windsor Police have charged and arrested a 20-year-old man from Waterloo in connection with the murder of 16-year-old Chance Gauthier, who was shot this past Valentine’s day.

According to the Windsor Star, Mal Chol, 20, of Waterloo, was arrested and charged with first degree murder, kidnapping and forcible confinement on Feb. 17. A warrant for the second suspect Nouraldin Rabee,19, has been issued. The Windsor Police Services warn locals that Rabee is known to be armed and dangerous.

Within this past week, Windsor Police Services also reported on Feb.18, at approximately 4:00a.m, patrol officers responded to a report of an injured man at a residence located in the 3200 block of Bloomfield Road.

The deceased male has been identified as Leonard Damm, a 73-year-old male from Windsor. As a result of an autopsy, investigators have classified this matter as a homicide investigation. Officers from the Major Crimes Branch are actively investigating this case.
