Windsor police have asked for the public’s help to identify a woman who was involved in a bank fraud.

According to police, a victim reported that they were unable to complete a debit transaction at a bank and their bank card was declined. The victim then attempted to use a banking application on their phone and was locked out of the account.

It was subsequently learned that a female suspect had gone to several different locations throughout the city to withdraw money from the victim’s account.

Police were able to access surveillance footage of the suspect and described her as a Caucasian woman in her early 20s, 5’7″ and slim with short black hair. She may have been wearing a black North Face puffy jacket and a red Jansport backpack.

Anyone with information is encouraged to contact Windsor Police Service at 519-255-6700 ext. 4330.
