Police searching for man who allegedly performed ‘indecent act’

The Windsor Police Service is actively searching for a man after he allegedly performed an indecent act at a business on Walker Road.

The investigation revealed at approximately 8:30 p.m. on March 28, a white male wearing a black hoodie entered a business on the corner of Tecumseh Road East and Walker Road.

He asked a female employee if he could charge his phone, and she obliged. He allegedly sat quietly for almost an hour before asking for his phone back.

Upon receiving the phone, he performed an indecent act in front of the female worker and proceeded to leave the business.

According to the suspect description and stills from the surveillance footage, he appears to be a white male between the ages of 20 and 30 wearing a black hoodie, blue jeans, black backpack and white running shoes.

“It’s still an active investigation and if anyone has any information we’re encouraging them to give us a call or anonymously through Crime Stoppers,” said Sgt. Steve Betteridge of the Windsor Police Service.
