Police searching for two male break-in suspects
Another male suspect has been caught and arrested in relation to last week’s home invasion in east Windsor.
On Nov. 21 around 3:15 p.m. Windsor Police responded to a call they received about a break-in to a property in the 1500 block of Francois Road. Police say there were three male suspects who broke into the house.
The suspects were armed when they entered the property. Officers soon realized the men had covered their faces with masks, making sure their identities were concealed using balaclavas. Two of the suspects appeared to be armed with weapons including a handgun and a sawn-off shotgun.
The three male suspects quickly left the property and made their getaway in a white Chevy Impala. One male victim was hurt during the incident, but his injuries were not considered life-threatening.
Since the incident, one male suspect has been arrested and police are still searching for another two. The incident was seen to be random and investigators are saying there is “no direct threat to public safety.”
Windsor Police are asking people with any further information on the whereabouts of the suspect to call 519-255-6700 ext. 4830 or report anonymously via Crime Stoppers at 519-258-8477.
