Henry Lau is the conservative candidate running in the riding of Windsor-West.
This is not Lau’s first time running for office. He has previously run in municipal, provincial and federal elections.
Lau is a former board member and second vice president of the Canadian Association of Mold Makers.
Lau was born in China and immigrated to Canada in 1984.
He studied mold making and business management at St. Clair College.
He is a mentor at the University of Windsor’s Odette School of Business and the Centre for Enterprise and Law.
Lau says one of his main priorities is to ensure students get jobs when they complete their education.
“Anything we are helping our students is basically helping our future. I will support anymore funding for education, for more federal funding, specifically for students. They are the future of our country. It is so important that we need to help our students and make the economy strong so they have a job when they graduate, so that they can pay for all of the expenses in their life,” said Lau.
Lau lives in Windsor with his wife. Him and his wife have three children.
