Quinn Hunt—Candidate, Windsor-West

Sean “Quinn” Hunt is an idealistic man who says he believes change is coming.  His platform is based on trust, resilience and what appears to be a statistics based philosophy on how we are going to change the world by getting people to vote with their hearts, it is the kind of new politics in the fresh unbeaten will of Hunt that stands out.

In the same day Rolling Stone reports that the wealthiest 400 Americans pay lower taxes than the working class, Hunt tweets targeting one of the wealthier families in Canada:

Hunt says he is aware of what he calls grave economic inequality and how governments can facilitate this.  Hunt takes a “new” left approach to what he believes is a problem.

He says he tries to distance himself from a centrist like Justin Trudeau by promoting a government that stands up to lobbyists.

When every politician is under scrutiny, sometimes the little things tell you what you need to know about the candidates’ decisions behind closed doors. 

The Windsor native with degrees from McMaster University and the University of Windsor made local headlines recently with a public apology of sorts for past tweets he might now regret.  He claims to have made some questionable decisions in the past, but he also contributes to a bi-weekly community clean-up. Hunt’s stance on the environment is a complete and unwavering dedication to the planet.
