A weather advisory for Windsor-Essex has issued a special statement this Monday, predicting rainfall for the next few days due to a warm front moving through the region.

Environment Canada noted that some of the rainfall might cause flooding in the Windsor-Essex area. There is also a chance of showers throughout the upcoming weekend.

According to the Essex Region Conservation Authority, the Essex County region has semi-frozen ground conditions that are saturated due to high temperatures, melting snow and rain. ERCA warns that all drivers should be extra cautious and avoid any lakes, rivers, ponds and ditches.

Environment Canada states Thursday shows a high of three with a low of -2 and Friday it is expected to have a little morning rain but otherwise cloudy and milder with a high of seven and a low of one.
