The government of Ontario is allowing convenience stores to sell alcohol as of Sept. 5.

The government is setting rules to the store owners to only sell alcohol within the given hours of 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Kenny Shim, who is representing around 10 thousand stores in Ontario expressed his positive feelings towards this law that will help store owners to make more sales in our poor economy.

The government is about to give around 4000 licenses to store owners so they can operate and sell alcohol.

The Government of Ontario is supporting local small businesses by asking convenience stores to stock at least 10 per cent of their inventory from local business.
