Shots fired in Walkerville

Windsor Police are in search of an individual linked to a shooting incident that occurred when gunfire was directed at a business on the 800 block of Erie Street East at approximately 8 a.m. on Wednesday. 

Upon reaching the scene, officers discovered shell casings and observed six bullet holes through the window of the affected business. Windsor Police have confirmed that there are no reported injuries at this time.  

As part of the ongoing investigation, officers acquired video footage capturing the shooting, which occurred at around 2 a.m. on January 31. The suspect’s vehicle, identified as a fully blacked-out GMC 7Z1 pickup truck, was seen during the incident. 

Investigators from the Windsor Police are urging residents in the vicinity to review their surveillance footage for any evidence linked to the shooting.
