Southwestern Ontario prepares for heavy winds to blow through.
In a special weather statement issued by Environment Canada, strong gusts of winds up to 80 km/h are expected by early Tuesday morning and will continue through the evening before tapering off Wednesday morning.
Environment Canada says the strongest gusts are likely along the shores of Lake Huron and Lake Erie.
The strong gusty winds are in addition to 10-16mm of potential rainfall in the Windsor area.
