University Hockey

     The University of Windsor men’s ice hockey team will be traveling to the U.S. this weekend in preparation for their regular season which begins Oct. 7. The Lancers will be looking for another Ontario University Athletics title this winter. With their last coming in 2013-2014 season. To prepare, they will be going to Bowling Green, Ohio to play their team Saturday, October 1, then Sunday they will be in Ann Arbor playing the University of Michigan Wolverines.

Saints Baseball

     The St. Clair College men’s baseball team extended their winning streak to 41 games as they swept George Brown College in a doubleheader Sept. 24 and Sept. 25. In the series the Saints outscored George Brown 31-0.

Junior Hockey

     The Wallaceburg Lakers tied the Blenheim Blades Oct. 27 to pick up their first point of the season, while the Essex 73’s traveled to Lakeshore to face the Canadiens for a battle of first place in the Provincial Junior Hockey League.
