St Clair College, Alienware Open First Gaming Lab in Canada
St Clair College and Alienware revealed on Sept. 19, the first ever Alienware gaming lab in Canada at the St. Clair College Main Campus in Windsor, Ont. Alienware is a top gaming brand that was created by Dell Technologies.
“Since its unveiling a couple of years ago, the Nexus Esports Arena and its gaming labs have become a hub for relaxation, socializing and activity during between-class breaks,” said St Clair College President Mike Sillvaggi.
The partnership between St. Clair College and Alienware also gives the college’s gaming lab a whole new upgrade for their students which include a Windsor skyline mural, branded neon signage as well as upgrades to the equipment in the gaming lab.
The labs have new gaming desktops and gaming monitors that will allow the varsity athletes and students to compete in the finest environment available.
“President France, before she retired in June, asked us what we needed to stay out front as the top program in Canada. New PCs was our answer. We’re extremely grateful for her commitment and to our partners at Alienware for buying into our vision and giving our players the tools they need to succeed as an elite collegiate esports program” said Esports Director Shawn Byrne.
