St. Clair College puts travel restriction in place
Students have been asked to follow up with their individual programs that have made plans so that they have enough time to cancel their travel and accommodation.
Since the World Health Organization declared COVID-19 as a public health emergency of international concern, 38 countries have reported additional health measures that ‘significantly’ interfere with international traffic in relation to travel to and from China or other countries, ranging from denial of entry of passengers, visa restrictions or quarantine for returning travellers.
Many of the countries that earlier had denied entry of travellers or had suspended the flights to and from China or other reported affected countries, are now reporting cases of COVID-19.
St.Clair College officials were apologetic for inconvenience around trip cancellations and placed emphasis on the welfare of all students and staff as high priority. The travel restriction is in effect until further notice.
