The newly formed St. Clair Saints eGaming team will make their long awaited debut on Oct. 6 in one of the biggest Smash Brothers Tournaments ever seen.
Originally started as a grassroots tournament on a college campus in Michigan, the Big House has turned into one of the premier tournaments that features players from all over the world.
Shaun Byrne, Director of the St. Clair eGaming team, sees The Big House as a perfect starting place for the newly formed collegiate team.
“As one of the premier Smash tournaments in the world that was also born on a college campus, The Big House couldn’t be a more fitting event for Saints Gaming to make its debut.”
The Saints eGaming team is also giving players new opportunities and ways to compete on an international level.
“We’re able to create opportunities for players to travel to events that they’ve never been able to attend before. I fully expect our team to take advantage and really make a statement,” Byrne said.
The Big House tournament takes place at the Cobo Center in Detroit, Mich. on the weekend of Oct. 6 and already has a confirmed attendance of almost 2,300 players.
