Strike would affect more than 1M Ontario students
The Elementary Teachers’ Federation of Ontario announced on Nov. 14 that they are prepared to begin job action Nov. 26.
The first phase is a work-to-rule and involves administrative tasks, such as not completing report cards.
If talks between EFTO and the government don’t progress, a strike would be the final outcome. A potential teachers’ strike in the province will affect more than one million students.
The union has been without a contract since Aug. 31.
