Struggling Spitfires look to snap losing streak
The Windsor Spitfires are fighting to keep the flame alive as they ride out a three-game losing streak.
Following a blowout eight to three home-ice loss against the Flint Firebirds, the team’s bad luck followed them to London and Ow
en Sound where they continued the loss streak.
The team has proven to be struggling defensively, allowing 116 shots on goal in the three games and allowing 21 goals. The string of bad luck caused the team to fall from third place overall to seventh and fourth in the Western Conference.
They look to snap the losing skid with a win in front of Windsor fans on Thursday as the 16th place Hamilton Bulldogs travel to the WFCU Centre.
