Sunshine List: Top Taxpayers Windsor
Nearly $400,000 has been paid to two men who served as Windsor’s Top bureaucrat, according to the province’s latest sunshine list.
That was less than what the city’s taxpayers had to pay for two chief administrative officers the year before, which came to $420,000.
A former Windsor Police chief who retired at the beginning of 2022, ranked among the highest paid officials on the city’s 2023 list.
The city paid roughly $450,000 to police chiefs last year including former Chief Pam Mizuno and current Police Chief, Jason Bellaire.
Under Ontario’s Public Sector Salary Disclosure Act, any public sector employee with a salary of $100,000 or more will have their name, position, salary and benefits publicly reported at the end of fiscal year.
