The City of Windsor is back with grants to help individuals and organizations
The City of Windsor’s Art, Culture, and Heritage Fund Grant program is seeking applications for 2018.
The grant program helps individuals and organizations, which are interested in doing cultural projects, to grow creatively and economically.
According to a press release by the City of Windsor, ACHF has awarded $348,800 and granted funding to 142 projects.
Cathy Masterson, manager of cultural affairs for the City of Windsor, said this program helps relieve the artists from the stress of arranging funds to complete their projects.
“It gives artists and cultural activists, a small amount of money that they can make a project happen right now,” said Masterson.
Masterson said this program happens twice a year, out of which one has already started and the next one will take place in fall.
“Make sure you check out the application, both the guidelines and the applications on the city’s website, you can see them on the cultural pages and we look forward to seeing a lot of interesting applications,” said Masterson.
Registration is open to the public until March 23.
