The S’Aints singing for local food banks Dec. 22 at Caesars Windsor
The local super group The S’Aints are at it again as it’s set to perform for a Christmas concert presented by St. Clair College and Caesars Windsor.
The concert Dec. 22 at the Colosseum will feature Christmas songs from The S’Aints’ latest album Hope for Hunger, which put a rock twist on some Christmas classics.
The S’Aints, are an ensemble of Windsor musicians who come together every year to raise money for charity through St. Clair: Jody Raffoul, Jeff Burrows, Wes Buckley, David Cyrenne, Kelly Hoppe and Kelly Authier.
Special guests this year include the Twisted Sisters, a local sister act consisting of Liz Robinson and Stephanie Baker.
Robinson said despite being involved in the Christmas album for three years, she is still captivated by her Christmas CD peers.
“We’re still star struck,” said Robinson.
To Baker, taking part in the Christmas concert at The Colosseum, is unforgettable.
“That was us? We were up there? That’s incredible. It’s overwhelming,” said Baker.
The proceeds from the Christmas CD and the concert go towards local food banks.
Tickets are $20 & $25 each and are available at the Caesars Windsor Box Office, CaesarsWindsor.com, TicketMaster.ca and St. Clair College campuses.
