Arts community mourns Theatre Alive icon Florence Raisbeck
Windsor theatre icon Florence Raisbeck, for so long the heart and soul of Theatre Alive, has died.
Raisbeck, known as “Amazing Flo” to her students, friends and co-workers, was praised for her passion and artistic contributions on Facebook and other social media outlets.
Theatre Alive produced scores of shows from 1987 to 2013, including The Who’s Tommy and A Birth of a City and Christmas to Remember.
The theatre closed in 2013 but the memories lived on in the students who helped put on the shows and learned about the magic of live productions.
