The 2017 MLS Cup final is being played on Dec. 9 at BMO Field in Toronto. Toronto received home field advantage for having the better regular season record. The game is a rematch of last year’s final between Toronto FC and the Seattle Sounders. Last year the Cup Final was scoreless and ended in penalty kicks. Seattle scored on five of their penalty shots while Toronto only managed four. Toronto FC are playing to win their first ever MLS Cup in only their second finals appearance.
