Transit Windsor drops mask requirement

On Transit Windsor buses, masks are no longer required as of Saturday, Oct. 1, 2022.

However, Transit Windsor recommend riders continue to wear a face mask when on the bus.

On all Transit Windsor buses, safety barriers have been erected to protect passengers while keeping visibility and sightlines for drivers.

It will be necessary for passengers to follow a one-way flow, getting on and off the bus through the front doors only.

Customers with mobility challenges will be given special permission to exit the vehicle from the front.

All passengers must remain behind the driver, past the yellow line, and not crowd the entrances.

Transit Windsor continues to clean buses and terminals using Oxivir, Virox, and Sani-Q disinfectant solutions.
