One of the largest shootings in modern U.S. history took place last night in Las Vegas.
The Clark County Fire Department confirmed that more than 500 people have been transported to hospitals and more than 50 people are dead, including an off-duty police officer. Two on-duty police officers were also injured in the attack.
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department have identified the lone suspect involved in the shooting as Stephen Craig Paddock, a 46-year-old white male from Mesquite, Nevada.
According to Las Vegas Police, Paddock opened fire on a crowd of more than 22,000 across the street from his hotel room at the Route 91 Harvest Festival concert.
Las Vegas Swat breached the hotel room and found the suspect dead.
The investigation is ongoing and the motive of the attacker is unknown.
