by Rob Benneian
Windsor Police Services were on the scene of a single-vehicle accident in a west Windsor parking lot on the evening of Oct. 7.
The accident took place in the parking lot at the southeast corner of the intersection of Huron Line and Tecumseh Road. Police estimate shortly before 9 p.m. the car jumped over a curb separating the parking spaces from the through traffic lanes and struck a tree.
Fire and ambulance arrived and the driver, reportedly the lone occupant of the vehicle, is believed to have been treated for undisclosed injuries.
Police said alcohol was not a factor in the accident.
“Just bad driving.”
