Windsor police have located a man wanted on Canada-wide arrest warrant for being unlawful.
The 30-year-old man was wanted for allegedly breaking parole. He was arrested by the members of the Provincial Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement (R.O.P.E) squad at 900 block of Tuscarora St. on February 1.
He was serving a seven-year federal sentence for weapons offences and robbing a bank with a firearm.
“Back on Wednesday, January 10, Windsor Police service released some information seeking the public assistance in the locating a federal offender who was wanted on a Canada-wide warrant as a result of breaching his parole,” said Sgt. Steven Betteridge.
Betteridge said the man was arrested without incident for his parole suspension warrant and was also charged for being unlawfully at large.
