Wellington Avenue fire damage estimated at $175k

A small house in the 1100 block of Wellington Avenue was destroyed after a fire broke out in a basement bedroom.

According to Windsor Fire Services, the fire broke out Saturday morning in Windsor’s west end.

The cause of the fire is still unknown but according to a tweet by Windsor Fire services, damage to the home is estimated in the range of $175,000.

There were no injuries reported.
