WIFF thriving after 15 years
It started as a cash-strapped endeavour, but 15 years later the Windsor International Film Festival is now thriving.
This year’s festival ran for 10 days instead of the normal seven.
“We are giving people extra time to catch up with movies they want to see” said Vincent Georgie, festival executive director.
The festival showcased more than 150 films this year, from international films to homegrown films such as the Last Call and Boys vs. Girls.
“This is my third time at WIFF,” said Ted Bezaire, Boys vs. Girls producer. “It is just a fantastic festival for Windsor, and I am glad we will be playing there.”
WIFF runs until Nov. 10.
