Windsor boy saving wildlife
Ten-year-old River Michalczuk is an Earth Ranger. His goal is to protect the environment, namely the wildlife. He has raised more than $500 his first year with the organization.
Earth Rangers is a charitable organization which allows children to get involved with the world around them. It offers different missions kids can take on, all of which benefit the environment. Missions range from feeding hungry birds to collecting and recycling 20 batteries.
Children are offered rewards as incentive for their work. Michalczuk has raised enough money to have received several prizes.
In the past year, Michael has completed the screech owl and brown bat missions.
