Windsor Police have charged a man with pornography offenses.
Mark Caon, a Windsor resident, has been charged with access to child pornography, two counts of possession of child pornography and distribution of child pornography.
The 42-year-old was located by Provincial Repeat Parole Enforcement Squad on October 12, 2017 at 9 a.m. and arrested. At 10:30 a.m. officers from the ICE (Internet Child Exploitation) Unit were granted a search warrant of Caon’s residence where multilpe electonic devices were seized.
ICE received information from the NCECC (National Child Exploitation Coordination Centre) in August 2017 that a suspect in the City of Windsor had uploaded child pornography using a social media application.
No court date has been released at this time.
