Windsor police offer $5K reward in homicide investigation

By Kaitlynn Kenney

The Windsor Police Service have issued a $5,000 reward in the homicide investigation of Jason Pantlitz-Solomon.

“We put out the reward to circulate the conversation again and get any new information about the case,” said Sgt. Andy Drouillard.

Police say they have discovered new information since the August slaying but are still encouraging the public to come forward with information.

Police released photos from surveillance footage showing two male suspects fleeing from the shooting scene outside Pizza Pizza at the intersection of Ouellette and University Avenues.

Police believe they fled in a white, Nissan Altima. The same type of vehicle was involved the next day in a police incident in the Peel Region. Police recovered a handgun they believe was used in the Windsor shooting.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Windsor Police Service at 519-255-6700 ext. 4830, Crime Stoppers anonymously at 519-258-8477 (TIPS) or online at www.catchcrooks.com.
