A Drouillard Road printing shop devastated by a half-million dollar fire three weeks ago reopened Thursday in a temporary location.

Hogan’s Printing is back in business at a temporary location following a $500,000 fire.

Hogan’s Printing has set up shop at 1636 Tecumseh Road East, between Windemere and Lincoln Roads, thanks to the generosity of Snapd Windsor publisher Jeff Casey.

Dan Hogan told The Windsor Star that Casey offered him the space within 24 hours of the Oct. 16 fire. Other businesses stepped up to help the Hogan family as well.

“It wouldn’t have been possible without other local people and businesses generously donating services, such as Syles Mechanical and Brookdale Construction,” Hogan told The Star. “Now we’re rocking and rolling. We printed our first T-shirts here on Monday.”

Hogan said the business has plans to reopen on Drouillard Road.

The cause of the fire remains undetermined.
