Windsor University Homecoming Game
On Sept. 21, the Windsor Lancers will be facing off against the Ottawa Gee-Gee for the first homecoming game of the season.
The game will take place at 4 pm at Alumni field and tickets are being sold from $15 to $20 for adults, free for students and faculty at the university.
Seniors (65 and over) and youth (12 and under) are $10 to $15 per ticket.
This game will be the fourth of the season for the Lancers and if they win, will get them up to a four-game win streak. It will be the first match at home during the school year with support from the Windsor community.
“Brady Lidster is my goat,” said eager fan, Marshall Kewin.
Kewin is referring to #83 on the Lancers, Lidster is part of special teams and will be a big part of the upcoming game.
This game will be a great opportunity to learn more about Lancer sports as well as support the community in a fun way. The Lancers are second in the division and the Gee-Gee’s are ranked sixth.
The fans have been waiting for this event since last year’s homecoming.
