Windsorite wins Juno Award for Comedy Album of the Year
On Saturday, Windsor comedian Dave Merheje won the 2019 Juno award for his comedy album, “Good Friend Bad Grammar.”
He tells The Mediaplex staff he feels very happy and grateful.
“It was very rewarding. We were very excited about this project. And we really enjoyed it, so to have it be rewarded means a lot. I am very happy about that respect,” Meherje said.
Good Friend Bad Grammar is Dave Merheje’s first comedy special. He says preparing the album was a lengthy procress, taking more than five years worth of materials compiled into this one album.
“I just think people should to support if you see this album or all other albums specially in Canada, go to Spotify, go on Apple, go on a comedy club in Canada and really support Canadian talent and not just out talents from other countries support Canadian talents,” he says.
Now, Meherje has some ideas about his next album, which he is already working on.
