Windsor Pride Fest brought together people from all over to celebrate love, unity, and acceptance.

The day started with a parade through the city streets. People waved rainbow flags, carried banners, and wore bright costumes, proudly showing their support for the LGBT community.

Jerry has been coming for more than a decade.

I have been coming to it for 32 years now. I was in the very first Pride Parade 32 years ago, and it is quite a different event. We have come a long way. It is nice to see that.

The festival also had live performances, including drag shows, music, and poetry. Local leaders spoke about the ongoing fight for equality and the challenges that the LGBT community still faces.

Wendy Nicholson, President of pride fest says this event is away for allies to show support.

Families, friends, and supporters joined in the fun, creating a welcoming atmosphere. Many people said that events like Pride Fest are important for promoting understanding and acceptance.
