Women to star in NHL’s All-Star weekend
The 2020 edition of the NHL All-Star competition has a new feature.
After receiving resounding applause and recognition from hockey pundits in 2017 when switching to a three-on-three All-Star game format, the NHL is adding a women’s three-on-three game to bring more attention to top female players.
The last competition marked the first time the NHL allowed female hockey players to compete in the skills competition of the event. This year there will be a Canada versus U.S.A women’s three-on-three game.
The series features four-time Olympian and Ruthven native Meghan Agosta.
The 2020 competition will be held in St.Louis at the end of January.
