Local products celebrated at small business expo

“Love local, shop local.”
The Windsor Essex Small Business Centre wants local shoppers to heed that call.
The organization held its annual W.E. Shop Local Show last week at the Fogolar Furlan Club.

The show provided shoppers access to a diverse array of Windsor-Essex products and services.
About 50 vendors participated and more than 1,000 people discovered unique, Canadian-made products while supporting local small businesses.
“You buy local, you shop local, your money stays local, instead of going out to the other countries,” said Shannon Dyck, the manager of the Small Business Centre.
“Small businesses represent about 90 percent of the jobs in Canada,” said Yvonne Pilon, President WETech Alliance.
