Suspect Arrested for illegal drugs, counterfeit money

A 35-year-old male was taken into custody by Windsor Police after illegal substances and counterfeit money were found.

Law enforcement carried out the execution of a search warrant at the suspect’s home in the 2100 block of Church Street on April 11.

Officers found $300 in fake US cash and 21.4 grams of cocaine during the search.

They also found several types of ammunition and a 12-gauge shotgun stock, which the suspect was not allowed to have because of a release order.

The suspect is currently charged with possessing a schedule I substance with the intent to traffic, having counterfeit currency, and disobeying a release order1.
