A night of beer and yoga
Local bars have been hosting quite the combination – beer drinking and yoga, attracting hundreds of young adults.
The force behind it is Blue Pin Social Events, which is pitching the events for anyone with an “open mind and a love of beer.”
“Beer yoga has become very popular all around the world,” said Blue Pin’s Toni Bruner, who also teaches the class.
“It is a good time for people to have fun with us.”
Beer yoga has happened once a month since February, at various local bars including the Manchester Pub and the Spitfire Pub.
It’s part of a worldwide craze that started in Germany and has spread as far as Australia and Thailand.
In Windsor, Allison Donaldson has come several times.
“This event is very exciting, and I come here with my friends to enjoy the night. This event provides a different experience of drink and yoga classes,” said Donaldson.
Attendees pay $15 for the ticket, and they get a one-hour class and a pint or bottle.
Bruner said Blue Pin Social Events wants to create an “incredible night” for everyone, where they can make new friends in a relaxed and social environment.
